Spring

Clear the grass of leaves, stones & twigs before you begin to mow. Gradually reduce the height and cut and mow more frequently the quicker the grass grows.

  • Apply a spring feed from late April.
  • Kill moss and scarify is necessary.

Summer

Feed and water as necessary.

Rake lightly before mowing to raise trailing stems. Mow regularly arranging forĀ assistanceĀ if you are away on holiday.

Spot treat weeds.

 

Autumn

Remove fallen leaves and if the grass keeps growing, you keep mowing!

Aerate and scarify, over-seeding worn patches or returfing larger damaged areas.

Apply an autum fertiliser and treat an diseases that may develop.

Winter

When there si snow or frost on the lawn, you keep off. Ensure that your mover is services prior to winter storage.

If the weather is mild and the grass still grows, gently ‘top’ the lawn with the mower at its highest setting.
